I used White Daisy card stock for the card base.
I loaded my new Artfully Sent Cartridge overlay onto the machine.
I chose the pop-up card on page 33 of the handbook and cut it from Juniper card stock:
I used my scoreboard to make defined score marks, following the tic marks made by the cut.
I then popped up the pop-up part of the card!
I began to adhere the card interior to the white base:
Putting adhesive on one side, then folding over to the other side worked great to get it covered:
Once adhered, it quickly looked great, even in its simple form!
Here's a pic of the icons on page 33 that I used, as well as the card off to the left.
Heads up: On page 33 of the Artfully Sent booklet, it shows the red highlight of the wrong key.....please use the "c" key, not the one indicated by the red button shown. The "c" button is just above the one highlighted.
I cut the cake swirls from the White Daisy card stock for a clean, fresh look:
I cut "Happy Birthday" from page 29 of the cartridge handbook. Even though the book said to cut at 5", I did use 7".
What a nice touch, don't you think?
I used one of the stamp sets that came with the cartridge to stamp a sentiment:
I used slate grey ink.
I cut the flowers from leftover Juniper paper:
Here's the inside of the card:
I added some self-stick pearls to the flowers for a finishing touch:
You need this cartridge! This quick, easy, beautiful card took me only minutes to make and looks professional and beautiful!
